Is it possible to bypass WQData LIVE for data upload/storage?
Certain organizations may not be permitted to allow data to reside on a 3rd party cloud server such as WQData LIVE. In these cases cellular X2-series data loggers can be configured to bypass WQData LIVE and transmit their raw XML data files directly to an FTP file server.

What is the direct FTP XML data format of the X2?
The following is the XML file structure for an X2 data logger system that can be utilized for direct FTP. Upon request, NexSens Technology can provide the user with a list of the logger parameter IDs required for parsing the data into the desired format.

What do the project map site marker colors indicate?
Site markers on a WQData LIVE project map will assume one of four possible colors reflecting the current status of the data logger(s) assigned to them.

Why did my FTP data report stop sending?
To prevent scheduling errors that can arise from repeated server connection issues, WQData LIVE will automatically disable any FTP data report that fails to send (5) times consecutively. The owner of the WQData LIVE project will automatically be emailed a notice when this occurs.

What is the Public Portal Data API?
The Public Portal Data API is designed to pull data from the WQData LIVE My SQL database and directly feed that to the WQDataLIVE public portal display.

For enhanced security, NexSens requires all passwords for a WQDataLIVE login to follow a set of requirements.
