Elcee Instrumentation and Services aims to advance environmental research by distributing cutting-edge scientific instrumentation. With over three decades of expertise, Elcee specializes in oceanography, hydrography, meteorology, fisheries research, spectral imaging, and surveying.
Based in Malaysia but working across the Asia Pacific region through its partners, each Elcee team member has a background in environmental science and extensive hands-on field experience.

Elcee has supported deployments of NexSens products across the region, including in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Laos and Timor-Leste.
In Timor-Leste, two real-time tide gauge systems using NexSens X3 data loggers were deployed along the northern coast to support safe shipping, multi-hazard early warning systems, and develop scientific knowledge. Datla was on hand to support the deployments and the upskilling sessions for local Timorese–empowering stakeholders, including the navy, police, and meteorological department, to maintain the systems.
Datla explains, “Nexsens’ vision perfectly aligns with ours–to provide ‘better data’. Nexsens systems simplify many things like complex wiring and deployment procedures that are challenging and time-consuming when working outdoors. So, the client can focus on what is most important–good quality environmental data.”
