When many sensors are used in a project, it may become necessary to power a submersible data logger through its top bulkhead. This action will require a UW-plug-to-flying-lead cable.

1. Connect the UW plug to the top bulkhead.

2. The power will run through pin 6 of the bulkhead, which corresponds to the yellow cable on the flying lead. Ground will run through pin 7, which corresponds to the black cable. Connect the yellow cable to the positive terminal and the black cable to the negative terminal on the external battery. The SDL is now being powered through its top bulkhead.
