Send iChart Log Files


During most troubleshooting procedures it is helpful for NexSens to have a copy of the log file created automatically by iChart during operation. This allows the technical support specialist to evaluate the cause of a problem.

1. Select Help | Open Tmp Folder from the iChart menu.

2. Arrange the files by modification date.

3. Locate the file that was generated during the time in question. The log file period can be verified by opening it in Notepad and referencing the date and time stamps shown in the top line (start) and those in the last lines of the file (end).

4. Attach this file to an email and send to the appropriate technical support specialist.
