NexSens MCIL wiring for Turner C3/C6 Signal Converter
The Turner Designs C3/C6 digital converter kit converts the signal output from the sensor from RS-232 to RS-422. Converters are required on Turner devices that utilize cables longer than 10 meters, as RS-232 signals can only transmit over that distance. However, the X2 data logger is incompatible with the RS-422 sensor interface; thus, the user will need to use a second converter to change the signal back to RS-232. Below is wiring information on the NexSens MCIL cable, outlining the digital converter’s power, ground, and RS-422 signals.
