The X2 provides the ability to read values from a sensor more frequently than data is recorded on the X2. When this happens, there are several options for what data to record to the X2’s memory. The average value is always recorded and displayed when sampling in this manner. Additionally, minimum, maximum, standard deviation, and raw values can be recorded as well. There is also the ability to utilize burst averaging which allows each sample to be averaged over a certain duration.

Parameters

Log Interval: The frequency with which data is written to the X2 memory

Sample Interval: The frequency with which data is read from the sensor

Burst Duration: The length of time the sensor will be sampled at the Sample Interval during each Log Interval (Only used for burst averaging)

Data Record Options

The following parameters can be added to the X2 record set when averaging is enabled. These parameters are calculated for every sample record.

  • Average (always enabled)
  • Minimum
  • Maximum
  • Standard Deviation
