A level value of -99999.992m or 328079.974ft is an indicator of no communication between the iSIC data logger and the AccuStage water level sensor. It is possible to resolve this issue.
1. Refer to the AccuStage Manual for wiring and pin numbers.
2. Ensure all wires are in the correct locations according to “Figure 3” in the manual.
3. Ensure wire connections are tight and that the metal conductor is making contact with the iSIC terminal. Make sure the wire insulation is not being clamped. Let the logger take a couple readings and see if communication is restored.
If communication was not restored, continue below.
4. Move the black +12V wire from Pin 2 and put it in Pin 3. This provides the sensor with full-time power. Let the logger take a couple readings and see if communication is restored.
If switching to full power didn’t restore communication, disconnect the sensor. Contact NexSens technical support at info@NexSens.com for an RMA form and number to send the equipment in for evaluation.
