WQ-NH4 Ammonium ISE sensors use an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) in their operation. There are three known positive ions that can interfere with the operation of the sensor: K+, Na+, and Tris+ (Postassium+, Sodium+, and THAM). This interference can skew the readings from the sensor by ~10% making the data incorrect. Consult the users manual on www.nexsens.com for more information on ISE sensors.
