Follow procedures below to isolate and resolve sensor problems.

Out of range calibrationConsiderable temperature gradient between standard solutions and reference fill solutionsSoak the electrode in the low range calibration standard for two hours and recalibrate
Contamination of calibration standards, poor dilution accuracy or distilled water quality, mathematical errorPrepare new calibration standards
Sample data is erroneousSample pH is too high or low Check that the pH solution of the sample is within the probe’s operating range
Extrapolated dataMake sure that the expected concentration of the sample is within the sensor’s calibration range
Samples contain interfering ionsUse appropriate complexing agents to negate the effects
