The float-operated Thalimedes shaft encoder, with integral data logger, is designed for continuous, unattended monitoring of water level in groundwater and surface water applications. As a standalone unit, the Thalimedes can be used in groundwater wells and deployment pipes of 4" diameter and larger.
The internal data logger offers event-controlled recording and 1-minute to 24-hour storage intervals for up to 32,000 measured values. One C-cell alkaline battery powers the unit for 15 months at a 1-hour interval. Infrared (IRDA), SDI-12, and RS-232 interfaces are standard. For real-time data collection and analysis, the Thalimedes is compatible with NexSens iChart software, iSIC data loggers, wireless communication equipment, and data hosting service at WQData.com.
For secure deployment in a 4" pipe, specify the installation kit, locking well cap, and pentagon key. The entire unit will be hidden inside the pipe. |
