OTT Pluvio² 400 Precipitation Gauge

The next-generation OTT Pluvio² 400 all-weather precipitation gauge features a collection capacity of 750 mm and a collection area of 400cm².
  • Real-time intensity, non real-time accumulation with a constant 5-minute delay
  • Both larger capacity (Pluvio² 200) or larger collection area (Pluvio² 400) options available
  • Multiple communication interfaces including SDI-12, Pulse Output, and RS-485
The new generation of Pluvios, the OTT Pluvio² 200 and OTT Pluvio² 400 offers the same precision and reliability as the first generation Pluvio weighing precipitation gauges. The Pluvio² also offers additional features and benefits including real-time intensity, non real-time accumulation with a constant 5-minute delay, larger capacity option, larger collection area option, and multiple communication interfaces (SDI-12, Pulse Output, and RS-485).

The OTT Pluvio² reliably and accurately measures both the amount and intensity of liquid, solid, and mixed precipitation. The instrument works according to the balance principle, taking into account external factors such as temperature and wind that could distort the results. Load cell and sensor electronics are hermetically sealed against damaging environmental influences.
