The N510 dissolved oxygen & temperature sensor with 50 foot cable features superior performance and low maintenance costs for long-term monitoring applications. - 5 mil Teflon membrane resists mechanical abrasions and tears
- Sensor cartridge can be rebuilt in the field, saving time & maintenance costs
- Compatible with NexSens real-time data logging systems
The NexSens N510 dissolved oxygen and temperature sensor features a rugged 5 mil Teflon membrane, field-rebuildable sensing components, and metal-braided cable assembly for superior performance in long-term environmental monitoring applications.
The membrane serves as a barrier to allow molecular oxygen to diffuse into the reaction cell where it is reduced at the working electrode. This reaction generates a small electrical current proportional to DO concentration. An RTD temperature element measures water temperature and corrects the sensor signal for its effect, resulting in a DO measurement that is accurate over an operating range of 0-50 degrees C.
The electrochemical components of the sensor are contained in an easily removable cartridge. This modular design makes sensor maintenance fast and easy, as the cartridge is regenerated by replacing the membrane and electrolyte. Each sensor comes standard with 10 replacement membranes and a bottle of electrolyte to facilitate periodic maintenance. |
