Editing the overview page in WQData

The Overview page in WQData is customizable. There are two text boxes for the customer to fill in with anything, including project descriptions, limitations and data disclaimers, background information, or extra details. There is also a picture block for the user to upload a visual. However, the web page has a set size and can only hold so much text before the picture overlaps the text. If overlapping occurs, the solution is to shorten the text or to use a smaller picture. The maximum picture size is 320x240 pixels.

 

1. Navigate to the WQData website.

2. Login as an administrator.

  • Note: When the site is created, an email is sent to the contact email address to provide the adminstrator login and password.

3. Use the Edit buttons to change the text or upload a picture.

 

To edit the title bar on the Overview page:

1. Open iChart with the current project

2. From the menu bar select File | Webdb | Setup.

3. In the Website Header box, the Title and Subtitle can be changed.
