Cycling power to an iSIC or SDL

It may be necessary to reset an iSIC or SDL by manually cycling power. This will allow the system to reboot and can solve various problems.

iSIC

1. Open the lid of the iSIC enclosure.

2. Remove both black fuses located to the left of the digital terminal strip.

  • While the fuses are removed, check that both are intact and undamaged.

3. Wait 10 seconds.

4. Replace both fuses.

 

SDL

1. Unscrew the white  battery lid.

2. Lift up so that the lid does not contact the batteries.

3. Wait 10 seconds.

4. Screw the lid back on.
