Press RoomExecutive Bios Steve Fondriest A visionary and leader, Mr Fondriest founded NexSens Technology and Fondriest Environmental in the late 1990's. Prior to founding the two companies, he was a member of the senior management team at YSI Incorporated where the company annual revenue grew 250% during his tenure. He led the design and development of new and innovated water quality measurement instrumentation systems and actively participated in the development of sensors and systems. He holds a patent on a sensor for the detection of dissolved oxygen in water. Mr Fondriest's technical expertise and understanding of the environmental monitoring market has led to many innovative products and technologies, which has propelled NexSens to a leadership position in the environmental monitoring field.
Doug Nguyen Mr Nguyen has 20 years of experience with instrumentation, software and data management systems. He received his Masters of Science in Computer Engineering from Wright State University in 1988. He has led the development of iChart software, iSIC data loggers, associated telemetry options, and WQData.com internet datacenter. He has worked with many industry standard sensors including: YSI, Sontek, RDI, Campbell, Turner, Sentex, Inficon, Dascor, SCan, Hach and ISCO. Mr Nguyen has managed the field service efforts for many Great Lakes and Ohio River Valley environmental monitoring projects including: USEPA Drinking Water Equipment Evaluation, ORSANCO Early Warning Data Buoy, Allegheny and Monongahela Drinking Water Monitoring, City of Columbus Source Water Monitoring, City of Indianapolis River Monitoring, White Lake, MI Dredging and many other projects.
