Building a Radio SystemSpread spectrum radio telemetry systems from NexSens are designed to simplify environmental monitoring system design. The NexSens 4100-iSIC data logger features an integrated spread spectrum radio for real-time remote data collection via license-free radio waves from up to 5 miles line-of-sight.
Spread spectrum radios transfer the data from the remote field site to a nearby 4100-BASE radio. A computer is connected to the base radio and uses iChart software for real-time access to the sensor, data, and configuration settings. This setup has been shown to be a quick, inexpensive way to view data from remote sensors in real-time from the comfort of your office.
