Building a Landline System

Landline modems provide a very simple method for data telemetry from remotely deployed environmental monitoring sensors. The NexSens 2100-iSIC data logger features an integrated landline modem for real-time data telemetry via standard telephone lines.

The 2100-iSIC data telemetry system can access any standard telephone line (dedicated or non-dedicated). Data from remotely deployed sensors connected to the 2100-iSIC data logger can be accessed from a PC running iChart software via standard analog modem. This setup has been shown to be a quick, inexpensive way to view data from remote sensors in real-time from the comfort of your office.
