Building a Radio-to-Phone SystemSpread spectrum radio telemetry systems from NexSens are designed to simplify environmental monitoring system design. The NexSens 4100-iSIC data logger features an integrated spread spectrum radio for real-time remote data collection via license-free radio waves from up to 5 miles line-of-sight.
Spread spectrum radios transfer the data from the remote field site to a nearby 4200-iSIC data logger with integrated spread spectrum radio and landline modem. In addition to being a relay site, the 4200-iSIC has complete sensor data logging capabilities. All data from a remotely deployed radio monitoring network can be relayed to the 4200-iSIC data logger and accessed via standard analog modem from an off-site PC running iChart software.
